Hedley House
- II

House. 1845 above door. Probably by Edward Blore. Pinkish-orange brick
with ashlar dressings and Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 first floor
windows. Ashlar plinth and quoins. Off-centre entrance a plank and glazed
door in quoined surround under stepped hoodmould. Pairs oil 8-pane sashes in
quoined surrounds and under hoodmoulds. First floor has casement windows,
one in quoined surround. Ornamental gables to left and right with ashlar
coping and kneelers, that to right interrupted by full-height decorative
stack which projects and is quoined. Ridge and side stacks.
