Lodge. 1844-47 reusing early C18 brick to lower part and with C20 additions
and alterations of no special interest. By Edward Blore. Pinkish-orange
brick with Welsh slate roof. Cruciform plan. 2 storeys, each side a single
bay. Entrance in C20 infil to left corner a 6-fielded panel door. Facades:
ground floor has 16-pane sash under cambered heads and mainly with moulded
ashlar sills. That to front contained original entrance, now with later
infil. First floor has 12-pane sliding sashes with ashlar sills which
interupt single course band. To each bay a pediment. Ridge stack.
