3/27 Grimston Lodge

House. Early C19 with later additions and alterations. For Lord
Londesborough. Magnesian limestone ashlar with Welsh slate roof. Double-
pile plan. 2 storeys, 5 bays of which that to left is a later addition.
Plinth. Central entrance a part-glazed door with overlight with glazing
bars within architrave with pediment. 12 and 16-pane sashes throughout with
stone sills and under flat arches. Modillion eaves band. Hipped roof.
Ridge and end stacks. To right return a further similar entrance within
Doric portico with frieze and dentilled pediment.
