Gates and piers. c1840. By Decimus Burton for second Lord Howden. Ashlar
piers with cast-iron gates. Rusticated piers, square on plan with moulded
cornices and ball finials, the whole approximately 3 metres high. Double
gates have 2 levels of bars with ornamental overthrow.
