St Kenya House
the description shall be amended to read:

House. Late C18; subdivided in late C19, St Kenya house being the most
complete and principal part of the original house. Rendered brick with
slate roof behind coped parapet which is swept up to right-hand end;
rendered brick stacks. Originally of 3-room plan with central hall. Late
Georgian style. 2 storeys with attic. Front originally of 4 bays, the
left-hand bay having collapsed. Two bays to left (originally to centre)
are pedimented with diocletian window to tympanum set on continous
bracketed cornice continued as parapet cornice to right. Two 6/6-pane
sashes above late C19 ashlar porch with plate-glass sashes set in
moulded architraves flanking open pedimented doorway with arms above
double doors with wrought-ironwork and overlight. Bay to right has
hipped dormer with 2-light casement above tripartite sashes. All sashes
have Gothick-style switch glazing to heads. Interior: original features
include panelled doors set in moulded wood architraves: moulded cornice
to hall;lantern light to original stairwell. Plain late C19 stair with
turned balusters dates from subdivision of the house.


St Kenya House

House. Late C18 - early C19. Rendered brick, slate roof behind coped parapet
which is swept up at the ends. 2 Storeys and attics and hipped dormers. 4
bays, the centre 2 are surmounted by a pediment supported on brackets and with
a Diocletian window in the tympanum. Glazing bar sash windows with Gothick
heads, the outer ones are tripartite. C19 projecting, central porch with a
gable bearing arms above.
