White Cottages

Plaque ;- AD 1595 to No 4, not original. 2 storeys. Rough rendered. Pantile
roof with stone kneelers and gable ends. Mainly modern glazing to 3 irregular
windows on ground floor, but sliding sash to No 4. 2 windows on lst floor,
one a double-hung sash, one modern. 2 brick chimneys at gable ends. Door
with small sloped hood on consoles. Now one occupancy.

Nos 1 to 4 (consec) White Cottages form a group with Nos 2 to 6 (consec) and
Nos 8 to 13 (consec) Salt Pan Well Steps (qv).
