Farmhouse, now public house. Early C19 with later alterations.
Coursed, dressed sandstone. Slate roof. Brick stacks. Originally
3-cell, cross-passage plan. 2-storey, 4-bay front. Boarded door left
of centre approached by stone steps. To right of door, 1 sash and
1 tripartite sash, both with keyed lintels. Enlarged fire window beside
door, C20 casement to left, all with plain lintels. Upper windows are
horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars. Coped gables with moulded
kneelers. 1 end stack, 1 left of centre. Attached outbuilding and barn
to right not of special interest. Included for group value.
