Summerhouse. c1750. Sandstone ashlar. Lead roof. Square on plan.
1 storey, 1 bay. Raised on squared plinth. Stone steps to half-glazed
door in architrave with radial fanlight over. Rusticated archivolt with
fasciated keystone. Continuous impost band. Rear similar, but in place
of door a square window with glazing bars and stone sill. Rectangular
raised and fielded panel beneath. Return fronts similar with blocked
fanlights. Overhanging eaves with moulded eaves course. Hipped roof.
The only building which survives from an earlier Low Hall replaced in
1906 by the present one, now a Miners' Convalescent Home.
