GV II


House. Early C19 with later alteration and extension. Chequer-board brick
in Flemish bond to front; sides and rear rendered; pantile roof; rendered
stacks. Central staircase plan, one room deep; rear service extension
added. 2-storey, symmetrical 2-window front. Central 6-panel door with
divided overlight in moulded doorcase with paterae. French window with
glazing bars to right in enlarged opening. Remaining windows are 16-pane
sashes. All windows have wedge lintels. Modillion eaves course. Coped
gables and end stacks. Included for group value.
