Laurel Cottage and
- Beech Cottage

GV II

Early-mid C18, altered early C19. Coursed squared tooled stone, Beech Cottage
rendered. Pantiled and Welsh slate roofs of high pitch with right end chimneys,
that of Beech Cottage largely rebuilt. Late C19 gabled dormers with bargeboards,
one each. Each house two storeys, two windows. Laurel cottage has early C19
sashes on first floor, later C19 sash below, and modern glazed door both under
wide lintels with keystones. Beech Cottage has later C19 sashes and a four-
panel door, top glazed. Interior: Laurel Cottage, has cupboards flanking fire-
place, 1 C18, 1 early C19; and other woodwork of early C19 including staircase.
