GV II

House, early C18. Coursed squared stone. Pantiled roof, stone copings and
shaped kneelers. End brick chimneys. 1 storeys, 2 windows, wide proportions.
Upper windows, breaking eaves,are 3-light sliding sashes. Lower windows 3
lights with glazing bars and small centre openings. Early C19 6-panel door
attached to earlier door. Interior much remodelled in early C19, with 6-panel
doors and window shutters; and downstairs rooms re-beamed. In inglenook in
former kitchen walls half lined with Dutch delft biblical tiles, probably early
C18. Small 1-storey set back right extension. Large sloped buttress in front.
