Coach-house, stables and cart-shed; byres; barn. C18. Arranged around 3
sides of yard. Dressed sandstone and coursed sandstone rubble; tooled
quoins and dressings; pantile roofs. 2-storey, 3-bay range to centre,
flanked by 1½-storey, 4-bay range to left, and single-storey range to right.
Barn to centre has a plank door beneath a flat arch, and C20 double doors in
a keyed segmental arch to the rear. Coach-house range to left has plank and
stable doors on to the yard. Carriage arch to left gable end with double
doors in a quoined segment-arched surround with keyblock, beneath square
pitching window in raised keyed surround. Right gable end has similar open
cart arch. Stepped eaves, coped gables and kneelers. Range to right has no
openings on yard. Included for group value.
