11/38 Keeper's House


House. Late C18, with C20 alteration. Dressed sandstone with slate roof
and rebuilt brick stacks. Central-entry plan, one room deep, with
continuous outshut. 2-storey, 3-window front. C20 glazed door with divided
overlight flanked by 16-pane sashes: 12-pane sashes to first floor. Stone
sills to windows. Flat arches to all openings. Stepped eaves course.
Coped gables and shaped kneelers. End stacks. Rear: single storey outshut
with catslide roof.
