Inn, now house. Mid-late C18, with C19 extensions; remodelled c1970.
Dressed sandstone with herringbone-tooled quoins; slate roof with rendered
stacks. L-shaped plan with later extensions to left and to rear. 2-storey,
3-window front, with single-storey extension to left. Central door of 6
raised and fielded panels in plain door-case with cornice hood. Similar
door to extension with 2-light, 12-pane casement to left. Windows to main
front are 12-pane horned sashes with stone sills. All main front openings
have tripartite keyed lintels. End and right of centre stacks. M-shaped
roof.
