House. Early C18 with C20 modernisation. Cruck-framed, encased in coursed
sandstone rubble with pantile roof and rebuilt brick stacks. Single storey
and attic, 3-bay front. Entrance to rear centre. Windows are large-pane,
horizontal-sliding sashes, of 2 lights to end left and right, and 3 lights
to centre. Fire window beside window to end right. C20 flat-topped dormer
to attic. Timber lintels to ground-floor windows. End and right of centre
stacks to steeply-pitched roof. Interior: single pair of raised collar
crucks are visible to left of centre. Beams with beaded moulding exposed
throughout ground floor. Cupboard door in centre room with H-L hinge.
