Mill, house and attached outbuildings. Early C19 with C20 modernisation.
Dressed sandstone with pantile roof and brick stacks, partly rebuilt. 2-
storey, 3-window front to house; single storey and attic, 3-window front to
mill to left, at right angles. House: half-glazed, 4-panel door to centre
and 2-light, 16-pane, horizontal-sliding sashes with stone sills. Heavy
tooled lintels to ground-floor openings. End right and centre left stacks.
Mill: left of centre board door with roughly herringbone-tooled lintel. 2-
light, 12-pane horizontal-sliding sash to left and Slight casement to
right, both with stone sills and tooled lintels. Gabled dormer with plain
bargeboards and 2-light casement. Centre stack. Left gable wall: plank
lifting door with stone sill and bordered herringbone-tooled lintel. Rear:
small walled yard with ranges of byre, cart-shed and stables.
