Farmhouse. Early C18; extended and altered later; raised and modernised in
C20. Cruck framed, encased in coursed limestone rubble, with pantile roof
and brick stacks. Originally 3-cell cross-passage plan later extended into
outbuilding to left. 2-storey, 5-bay front, with single-storey outbuilding
to left. Board door to centre and C20 stable door to outbuilding. C20
small-pane casements with renewed lintels and stone sills throughout.
Centre left and right stacks. Interior. Ground floor: in room to left of
the cross passage the fireplace with heck and bressummer survives. In the
end room to the right is a stone fireplace with a 2-centre arched lintel and
a moulded cornice shelf above. A plank and muntin partition forms a passage
to the rear of the 2 centre rooms. First floor: substantial portions of 2
pairs of raised crucks with collars are visible below the ceilings of the 2
