House. 1847 on datestone; later C19 alteration and extension. For the
Dawnay family. Dressed sandstone with pantile roof and rebuilt brick
stacks. Originally central entrance plan, 1½ rooms deep; parallel range and
rear wing added. 2-storey, 2-window front. Original entrance blocked and
present entrance in right gable wall of parallel range, beneath pent porch.
16-pane sashes with stone sills and chiselled lintels to front. Datestone
over former entrance inscribed:

Coped gables and shaped kneelers. End stacks.
