Packhorse bridge. Dated 1619. By Thomas Ferris of Hull. Sandstone.
Single segmental arch of voussoirs beneath hoodmould and low chamfered
parapet, raked up at centre. Datestone in centre of parapet on downstream
side inscribed 1619 over the coat of arms of Thomas Ferris of Hull. Bridge
approached at each end by sections of sloping, flagged pannier-way. Part
in C.P. of Glaisdale. E.Jervoise, The Ancient Bridges of The North of
