17/72 Tinkler Hall

Farmhouse. Late C18 with C19 alteration. Herringbone-tooled sandstone
with pantile roof and brick stacks. 2-storey, 2-window front with
1-storey, 2-bay wing at right. C20 board door in wing, to left of 4-pane
sash. Windows in 2-storey part are tripartite replacement sashes in
original openings with painted stone sills and tooled keyblock lintels.
Coped gable, plain kneeler and end stack to wing. Main front has coped
gables, shaped kneelers and end stacks. Right return: reset window lintel
carved with shallow semicircular arch containing date 1682.
