GV II
Farmhouse, now private house. Early C18; raised and altered in C19; C20
extension. Rubble sandstone with herringbone-tooled first floor quoins;
pantile roof. 2-storey, 3-window front. Right-of-centre half-glazed door
approached by flight of steps. Windows are horizontal sliding sashes, of
16 panes on ground floor and 12 panes on first floor. Coarsely herring-
bone-tooled window sills and ground floor lintels. Coped gables and
shaped kneelers. End and centre stacks. C20 extension at left end not of
special interest. Interior. Inglenook fireplace with chamfer-stopped
bressummer and C19 range with crane and reckon. Cupboard with sunk-
panelled door on butterfly hinges to right of range.
