GV II
Railway bridge. c.1860. For the North Eastern Railway Company. Rock-
faced sandstone and cast iron railings. Three semicircular arches of
shaped voussoirs on tall piers with imposts and rounded cutwaters. Moulded
cornice and plain parapet with sloped coping surmounted by horizontal
railings. Terminal piers with shallow pyramidal caps.
