4/160 Old School
School. c.1825, with later C19 extension. By Col.James Wilson. Coursed
rubble sandstone with porch of rusticated sandstone; tooled dressings and
slate roof. 1-storey, 3-bay front. Pointed board door in projecting
gabled porch, flanked by single pointed lights in hollow-chamfered
surrounds. Coped gables and plain kneelers. Left end stack. Rear: three
pointed windows. Right return: one pointed window. Building disused at
time of resurvey.
