GV II
Public house. Early C19 with later C19 and C20 alteration and extension.
Whitewashed render with applied timber framing and painted tooled
dressings. Pantile roof and stone stacks. 2-storey, 4-window front.
Centre left board door in raised surround with flat hoodmould, beneath
pent porch. Similar centre right doorway, without porch, blocked by
16-pane sash. Small-pane tripartite sash window, with raised surround and
mullions, in centre of ground floor. Similar 2-light windows at each end
and to first floor. Low-relief carving of the Wilson arms on first floor
over altered doorway. Coped gables and plain kneelers. End and centre
stacks. Applied timberwork and C20 extension at right not oil special
interest.
