NZ 9504 FYLINGDALES CHAPEL STREET, Robin
19/37 Hood's Bay (north-east
House, probably early-mid C18. Sandstone ashlar with pantiled roof. 2 storeys
and attic, 3 windows, irregular. Plinth. Off-centre replaced 6-panel door in
reeded frame, with blocked radial fanlight, under dentilled pedimented hood on
curved brackets. Flanking sash windows, lost bars, in wood architraves with
projecting stone cills. On first floor narrower sashes, also lost bars, in wood
box frames, no cills. Coved eaves. 2 flat-headed dormers with 9-pane sashes
and slate cheeks. C19 cast iron bootscraper at right of doorstep.
