House of mid-late C18 appearance, possibly with older core. Coursed
herringbone-tooled sandstone of fairly small size. 2 storeys, and basement, 2
bays, very irregular. At left a door of 4 fielded panels in low wood frame. At
far right a tiny sash with small basement opening below. On first floor 1
replaced Yorkshire sash and a 14-pane double-hung sash. Projecting at left is
the upper part of Glenhowen (q.v.)
