Robin Hood's Bay
(west side)
The Dolphin Hotel
Inn, late C18 or early C19. Painted brick in Flemish bond. Welsh slate roof
with brick stacks. 2 storeys, 3 windows, irregular. C20 door, with 3-pane
overlight, at left. Ground floor one 4-pane and two 12-pane sashes in wood
boxes, the latter under flat brick arches. Similar first-floor windows. End
chimneys, the right rebuilt.
