House, late C17 with alterations. Incised rendered walls. Pantiled roof with
stone copings and kneelers, brick stack. 2 storeys, attic and basement. Canted
gable end to NEW ROAD has basement door and round ground floor window; other-
wise blank. Main front to THE DOCK one wide bay, irregular openings. Right 6
stone steps with wrought-iron handrail, to top-glazed 6-panel door in left
return of pent porch extension with small front window. Ground and first floors
have replaced 16-pane sashes, attic a late C19 12-pane sash. First floor window
flanked by 2 small roundels; sign bracket to left. Ridge stack; block
kneelers. Included for group value.
