House of early C19 appearance. Herringbone-tooled coursed sandstone with dressed,
chamfered quoins at right. Pantiled roof with stone copings to gables and to brick
stacks. 3 storeys, 1 wide bay. Left 4-panel door with overlight in wood surround
of pilasters and cornice on tall skittle-shaped brackets. Above door on each floor
an 8-pane sash with slightly-projecting stone cill. Roll-moulded gable copings;
right end stack. On right return 2 12-pane sashes and blank lower part with steps
leading down. Rear (south) elevation 4 storeys, 1 wide bay. 4-panel door in later
C19 surround, 16-pane sashes on 3 floors, 9-pane on top floor.
