House, early; C19. Coursed herringbone-tooled and margined sandstone; pantiled roof
with stone ridge, copings and kneelers, rendered stacks. 2 storeys, attic and base-
ment, 2 bays. Flight of 7 steps, with wrought iron handrail wreathed above curtail,
to off-centre top glazed 6-panel door with radial fanlight. Segment-headed lattice
pores with lead tops. Flanking 16-pane sashes on both floors, with projecting
sills. Glazed basement door and 12-pane sash to right of steps. 2 stone attic
dormers with segmental-pedimented heads and 6-pane sashes. Big curved kneelers.
End chimneys. Wrought iron area railings join garden wall (q.v.).
