GV II

Cottage, early-mid C19. Herringbone-tooled coursed sandstone; pantiled roof with
store coping and kneeler. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Irregular front with right bay canted
at left and left bay a square projection. Boarded door under bracketed hood
in a stone-filled larger opening (possibly once a cart entrance or shop window)
at right. To its left a 15-pane sash in wood architrave with projecting cill;
similar first floor sash on the cant, both with tooled-and-margined lintels. Left
bay blank but for inserted vents. Included for group value.
