House with shop, early-mid C18 with alterations. Fine herringbone-tooled coursed
sandstone. Pantiled roof with stone ridge, copings and kneelers, brick stack.
Rubble outhouse. 2 storeys, 3 bays. At left 2 later C19 4-panel doors, with low
overlights, paired in surround with pilasters and shallow bracketed hood. At right
as square bay shop window. First floor 2-light chamfered mullioned windows, possibly
lengthened, holding 1-bar casements. Relief of ship over left hand door. Outhouse
at right blank except for boarded.door. Rear elevation shows blocked fire window,
an early b1ocked small window and another small original opening still in use.
