17/220 Ledson House

House, mid-late C18 with alterations. Finely-tooled coursed sandstone; pantiled
roof with stone coping, old brick stack. 2 storeys, 2 bays, irregular. Left-
of-centre 4-panel door under gabled wood hood on shaped brackets. Left 16-pane
sash: right inserted fixed light and another 16-pane sash. First floor two 12-
pane sashes; all windows have stone cills. Roof has been lowered; the original
higher pitch is shown by the higher coped gable end wall at left. with its old
stack. 2 small skylights; small kneeler.
