6.10.69 Beeston Cottage and

Pair of houses. Early C19 appearance, but painted board with date 1652 may indicate
an earlier core. Finely-tooled coursed sandstone; pantiled roof. Each 2 storeys
and attic, 1 wide bay. Doors paired in centre, Beeston Cottage 4-panel, Auburn
Cottage C20 half-glazed. Beeston Cottage (at left) has 16-pane sash, with project-
