House and stable. Early-mid C18. Finely-coursed, lightly-tooled sandstone.
Pantiled roof with stone ridge, copings, kneelers and stacks. No builds. Main
house 2 storeys, 2 wide bays. Set back on right downhouse/kitchen of 1 storey
and attic, 2 bays with stable of 1 storey and loft, 3 bays beyond; left bay of
stable now incorporated into house. Half-glazed door at left of kitchen, in
hearth-passage position. Modern casement to right and another door beyond; 3
raking dormers with 2-light casements. Main house has two 3-light small-paned
C20 casements on each floor, those below under extended lintels with tall,
projecting keystones. End chimneys and block kneelers; chimney at right end of
downhouse. l-storey left extension concealed by greenhouse which is not of
special interest. Stable has loft door but ground floor concealed by projecting
lean-to which is not of special interest.
