Farmhouse with extensions. 1813, dated on overdoor panel with
initials J & M.V. Extensions slightly later to rear, projecting
cottage at left probably mid C19. Coursed, squared tooled sandstone;
pantiled roofs with stone copings, kneelers and stacks. Farmhouse
and cottage 2 storeys, 2 bays each. Farmhouse has altered, part-
glazed door and C20 pivoted windows under deep wedge lintels with
chevron tooling; projecting cills. Cottage has 4-panel door with
overlight and sash windows with glazing bars. Swept roofs have
copings on moulded kneelers, corniced end chimneys. Rear elevation
shows 1-storey kitchen extension at right with plinth and through-

a different alignment?). Longer 1-storey left wing holds boiler-
