Farmhouse, probably late C17 longhouse, raised and altered in C18-
Cl9. Roughly-coursed sandstone in long horizontal blocks; upper
parts more regularly coursed and herringbone-tooled. French tiled
roof with tile ridge, stone copings, kneelers and stacks. Hearth-
passage plan. 2 storeys, 3 wide bays in all, with a 1-storey right
end bay. C20 door in through-passage position. 5-light casement
to right and similar window in end bay; 3-light C19 sashes in main
house and first floor of downhouse; small fire window to left of
door. Near-pointed kneelers. Corniced stacks at ends and backing
on to hearth passage.

Chamfered windows in left return; chamfered doorway from through-
passage to house-place.
