Farmhouse, later C18. Coursed herringbone-tooled sandstone;
pantiled roof with stone stacks, copings and kneelers. 2 storeys,
4 bays, the left bay formerly an attached cottage. Farmhouse part
has central door, now blocked, flanked by 16-pane sash windows.
Above door a window recess painted trompe l'oeil. At left a top-
glazed 6-panel door with 16-pane sash above it. All openings have
deep wedge lintels tooled and margined, with bordered large
keystones, those on first floor reaching eaves. A ramped wall
divides the old cottage part from the rest of the front. Roof of
moderate pitch with flat copings, moulded kneelers, chimneys at
ends and at former junction. C20 window inserted in right return.
