West side

6/142 Box House


House, later C18. Coursed squared tooled sandstone. Pantiled roof
with stone ridge, gable copings, kneelers and stacks. 2 storeys,
2 bays. Central half-glazed 4-panel door. Late C19 sash windows
below, with extended keyed lintels. Early C19 sashes above. Roof
raised and 3 top courses added to front, probably in early C19.
Cornice banded end chimneys.
