Nos 6 and 7

C18 origins, altered. 2 storeys in coursed stone with pantile roof. No 6 has
2 windows, hung sashes with glazing bars, below lintels with keystones. C19
shop front of 2 windows with large glazing bars and central door below rectangular
fanlight. Round-arched passage entry leading to Masonic Hall (qv), with modern
masonic armorial shield. No 7 has large modern dormer. 1st floor has modern
mullion and transom window of 8 lights, modern lintel. Ground floor Cl9 shop
front retains cornice and risers, door to right below blocked rectangular fanlight.
Included as part of a group.

Nos 1 and 2 and premises formerly occupied by John Hague form a group with the
Rose Inn, Nos 5 to 8 (consec) and the Masonic Hall.
