11/17 Orchard House

House. C17 with earlier origins and C20 alterations. Cruck frame,
coursed limestone rubble, thatched roof, brick stacks. 3-bay hearth-
passage plan. Board door flanked by two 3-light Yorkshire-sashes to
left and one 3-light Yorkshire sash to right. 3-light Yorkshire sash
half dormer to second bay. Steeply pitched roof with end stack and
ridge stack. Interior: the 2 central pairs of crucks survive with a
tie-beam roof.
