Warehouse, now houses. c1780. Converted to houses by 1830. For Simon
Hutchinson, grocer and draper. Coursed limestone rubble, slate roof,
stone and brick stacks. 3 storeys, 5 bays. 6-panel door beneath radial
fanlight in plain doorcase to No 14 to left. Entrances to Nos 15 and 17
inserted into former carriage arch in plain doorcase with blocked
fanlight. C20 half-glazed door to left, 6-panel door to right. 16-pane
sash windows. First floor: 16-pane sash windows. Second floor: 8-pane
sash windows. Keyed stone lintels and stone sills with continuous sill
to first floor. 2 fire insurance plaques. Cast-iron rainwater head.
Moulded cornice. Gable coping. Ridge stacks and left end stack. Mc
