c1730. Sandstone ashlar. Square courtyard plan. Main facade:
1 storey, symmetrical. Board door beneath radial fanlight flanked by
4 attached Tuscan columns carrying plain entablature with stepped
pediment. 2 rectangular blind panels within colonnades. To either side
blank round-headed recesses below moulded cornices flanked by low plain
walls. Pevsner, Yorkshire: the North Riding, 1966.
