Orangery in grounds of Duncombe Park (qv). c1730. Rubble with
rusticated sandstone facing. Tripartite plan: 2 wings flanking central
room. 1 storey, 11 bays: 4:3:4. Central section: 3 tall 4-light
round-headed windows separated by Corinthian pilasters, paired at
angles. Dentilled cornice. Plain parapet carries urns corresponding to
pilasters. Flat roof. Wings of half height have square unglazed window
openings separated by rusticated pilasters carrying projecting cornice.
