9/64 Knipes Hall
- II

National School, now house. c1822 with C20 addition. Dressed
sandstone, stone slate roof, brick stacks. Single storey with
symmetrical facade. 6-fielded-panel door under radial fanlight between
engaged Tuscan columns supporting fluted friezes and open pediment with
2 sashes with glazing bars to either side. Broad band above windows.
Additional section of wall to right with blind relieving arch. Gable
coping. Ridge stack and stack rising through pitch of roof to rear.
C20 addition of no special interest.
