House. Late C18. Hammered coursed limestone, herringbone tooled
quoins, Westmorland slate roof, brick stacks. Central hallway plan,
2 rooms in depth with outshut to left and cross wing to rear.
3 storeys, 3 bays, symmetrical facade. 6-panel door with top 2 panels
glazed, beneath divided oblong fanlight in C20 wooden porch. Flanked by
3-light casement to left and 3-light Yorkshire sash to right. Casements
and fire insurance plaque to first floor. Squat 3-light Yorkshire
sashes to second floor. Flat arches to all openings. Gable coping,
shaped kneelers.
