8/2 Town End Farmhouse

II

Farmhouse. Mid C18. Squared limestone; sandstone quoins; pantile roof;
one brick, one stone stack. Central staircase plan, one room deep, with
2-storey rear extension. 2-storey, symmetrical 3-window front. Raised
quoins. Centre part-glazed door in rusticated surround with channelled
keystone. Detached lintel above. 16-pane sashes in raised surrounds, the
upper centre having a grooved triple keystone. First floor band. Cavetto-
moulded eaves course. Coped gables, moulded kneelers and end stacks.
