Pair of houses. C18 with earlier origins; subdivided and raised later.
Rendered to front, coursed rubble sandstone to rear; concrete pantile roof;
brick stacks, one rebuilt. Originally 3-cell, hearth-passage plan, with
staircase outshut added. 2-storey, 3-window front. Stone steps to 4-panel
door with rectangular fanlight to right of centre. 3-light large-paned
horizontal sliding sashes with no sills or lintels. Blocked fire-wondow in
left gable; enlarged fire-window in right gable. 2 end and one centre
stacks. Interior: the hearth beam survives in the centre room. One pair of
raised crucks remain in the roof above the wall between the rooms to left.
