3/51 The Cottage

House and outbuilding. Early C19 with 20 extension. Coursed dressed
limestone with rubble to gable ends; pantile roof; brick stacks. Central
staircase plan, 1½ rooms deep, later extended into attached outbuilding.
2-storey, 2-window front, with single storey outbuilding. Street front:
central 4-panel door under rectangular divided fanlight. 16-pane sash to
left, and 2 similar windows to first floor. All openings have heavy lintels
End stacks. Garden front: similar to street front, but with two 16-pane
sashes to ground floor.
