5/89 High North Holme


Farmhouse. c1780, with later extension and alteration. Rendered stone;
brick extension; slate roof; brick stacks. Central stairhall plan, 1½-rooms
deep, with rear service wing added. 2-storey, 5-window front. Central
6-panel door under rectangular fanlight. Doorcase of pilasters and
dentilled cornice. 12-pane sashes with stone sills throughout. Interior:
dado panelling has survived in ground floor room to right.
